2000-2005
In March 2001, Maletti inaugurated their new and modern production site at Scandiano, designed by architects Matta and Varaschin. All members of the Maletti Group have their headquarters in this new complex. It covers an area of 49,000m2, of which 3,300m2 is office space and more than 3,000m2 is dedicated to our showroom - the biggest beauty design showroom in Europe. We are also immensely proud of our 1000m2 cash 'n carry outlet.
2002-2003
At the same time as we launched the I Tagli line by Claudio Silvestrin - the designer noted for his collaborations with Giorgio Armani and Calvin Klein - we entered into a creative partnership with Ross Lovegrove. During a meeting in Moscow, organized for Maletti distributors from all over the world, Ross Lovegrove presented a preview of his first designs that will be included in his collection.
2004
At Cosmoprof, Maletti organized the first Festival Fringe event dedicated to the décor history of this Bolognese trade fair. An audience of journalists, architects, designers, and sector opinion leaders, were invited to the Palazzo Re Enzo for a preview exhibition of Ross Lovegrove's "Organic Dreams" collection. The Festival Fringe, organized as an authentic tribute to design, was a great success and was opened to the public in the days that followed.
2005
At the Maletti Design Gallery, the Cosmoprof stand created by architects Maurizio Macciocchi and Camilla Borsoni to imitate a true and actual contemporary design gallery, Ross Lovegrove's definitive collection was launched along with a preview of the collection "A Little Talk" by Didier Gomez which was created in collaboration with L'Oréal Professionel.
Thanks to the collaboration of Silvestrin, Gomez and Lovegrove, three of the top names in international design, the Maletti Group confirms its position as a leader in this new millennium, and the only company in the sector to benefit from these great names which now join Maletti's hall of fame alongside Philippe Starck, Borek Sipek, Matta e Varaschin, Maurizio Macciocchi.
The European company with the longest history in this sector will be celebrating its 80th anniversary in 2006. Further proof that it is the most dynamic, the most innovative, and the company that is most sensitive to changes in fashion and design: Maletti - the company that changed the look of salon furnishings by transforming them into actual design objects. Maletti - a permanent feature in the sector's most notable magazines. In 2005 alone, numerous feature articles and references were published in Interni, Ottagono, Elle Décor and Abitare.
