The brand was updated and the Design Office was enlarged, becoming the pride of the company. Professional technicians and designers were trained; these were years of magic creativity expressed in the very modern salons located throughout Italy. Salon design became focused on Beauty-Design thanks to the studies of Edgardo, the eldest son, in architecture. 1979: the year Guerrino Maletti died. His three sons took over the running of the company, strategically sharing out the three key areas. Danilo was assigned the Chairmanship and took over Product Distribution. Guido was to dedicate himself to Research & Development. Edgardo continued in charge of Marketing & Advertising. The company became an S.P.A.
